Notational Velocity is essentially a streamlined platform which enables users to quickly retrieve textual data. One of the reasons why this package is preferred over generic counterparts is that many of its features are automatic as opposed to manual. All data is systematically saved and searches can be used in conjunction with other software such as Google Drive or Dropbox.
